Disney’s annual passes are presently unavailable for non-Florida citizens.
Sales of select annual passes at Walt Disney World have been halted until at least 2022.
The decision, which was announced this week on the park’s website, is intended to manage park capacity as the holiday vacation season begins.
Current pass holders will be able to replace their passes, but newcomers will have to wait unless they live in Florida and have plenty of free time throughout the week.
The Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which allows Florida residents with unlimited admissions to Walt Disney World’s Florida theme places on most weekdays for $399 a year and is the lowest annual pass Disney offers in Orlando, is presently the only annual pass available for Disney World.
Disney’s Pirate Pass, which costs $699 a year and lets Florida residents visit most days of the week, including weekends, won’t be available until at least 2022.
Disney’s yearly passes for non-Florida residents, which cost between $899 and $1,299 a year and include unlimited visits to Disney parks in Florida, are presently unavailable. In 2022, such passes are likely to be accessible again.

In September, Disney introduced redesigned versions of its yearly passes to let customers remember The World’s Most Magical Celebration all year long. This year, Disney is going to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a series of special events and promotions, including a collaboration with Southwest Airlines.
In a blog post at the time, a Walt Disney World official said, “We’re introducing four new yearly passes that give the flexibility and choice to fulfil guest demands, each designed based on pass holder feedback.”
Some pass holders, on the other hand, considered the updated versions to be a step backwards. While passes include parking and savings, a formerly included PhotoPass service now costs an extra $99.
