P.E.I. repair firms overwhelmed with flooding calls

Some foundation walls have succumbed due to water damage, Clark stated. He stated that the water had nowhere else to go in some cases but basements with the ground still surrounded by ice.

Clark is still attempting to catch up with calls from Friday. He stated there could be a bit of a wait, but he’s trying to get to consumers fast.

Josh Farquharson, general manager of the firm on P.E.I., said he received calls since Thursday. He stated that staff is working 24 hours to catch up to demand.

“I would state the volume would be about likely 30 to 40 calls since Thursday night, but we’re still taking them,” he stated. Source –
